FC Porto Alegre 5 – AC Marchesana 3

On the “F. Gabrielli ”of Rovigo went on stage a show of those that will remain forever etched in the memory and settled at the bottom of the hearts of the protagonists.
After the first half (…) we found ourselves inexplicably under three goals. Too many errors (…). 3-0 for the adversaries and  we were like a boxer played closed to the ropes …
But Porto Alegre has accustomed us to sudden magic (…) In the second half a completely transformed team has discharged character qualities (tenacity, concentration, determination) and unexpected techniques, inflating the opponent’s goal five times with splendid markings worthy of championships of very different categories.
A spectacular and terrifying “remuntada” (for the opponents).
The strikers of the day were Karim (3 goals) and Obi (two goals) but we must point out the important contribution of all the protagonists, a clear sign that football, team sport, must always be played with great spirit of collaboration in every situation.
A game that, if we wanted to, was also a small metaphor for life, a small teaching not to bend to the difficult events that arise, to get up again, to have courage, to persevere and to pursue one’s goal with confidence and obstinacy.
Life is very hard, but we have to be too.
