Over 30 local administrators and other civil society representatives from Capaccio-Paestum (SA), Rovigo and Scicli (RG) attended the webinar “The response of the third sector to the pandemic crisis”. The meeting, thanks to the contributions of Francesco Ferri (Action Aid), Lorenzo Chialastri (Caritas Roma), Silvio Aimetti (Mayor of Comerio – VA) and other significant local testimonies, made it possible to highlight the experiences that saw foreign and indigenous citizens united as protagonists in facing the social emergencies that arose or that worsened during the pandemic crisis due to Covid-19.

During the meeting it was also possible to investigate highly topical issues such as that of citizenship in our country. The current legislation, excluding large sections of the population, favors the proliferation of unequal treatment, widespread discrimination, economic and social inequality.
