On Friday 20th September, the INVOLVE Scicli hub has committed itself to #puliamoilmondodaipregiudizi, together without borders and without passports for the good of our Earth. In fact, in addition to joining the Legambiente Puliamo il Mondo campaign, the INVOLVE volunteers presented the project to the children of the Don Milani and Elio Vittorini territorial middle schools and to the nursery school children of the Methodist diaconal work. With the international volunteers of Mediterranean Hope (the reception project of the FCEI that collaborates with the hub) the INVOLVE project was introduced and described briefly in the presence of professors and the councilor for the environment of the Municipality of Scicli: there is need more inclusion, also to counter the racist and xenophobic wave that has spread in recent years. Many of the initiatives and activities that will take place in the area with the involvement of the local population will be shared with migrants in the city, in order to disrupt false beliefs and prejudices.
